Tournaments which have a registration fee will list the fee in two parts: the buy-in + the vigorish. The buy-in is the portion a player contributes towards the total prize pool for a tournament. 100% of the buy-in amount collected is split up and distributed among the various winners of the tournament. The vigorish is the fee paid to CardRoom.com for hosting the tournament and does not get added to the prize pool.
Tournaments with a registration cost are displayed with the tournament buy-in and vigorish listed separately. For example, a $5.00 + $0.50 means that a player contributes $5.00 to the prize pool and $0.50 as the vigorish or tournament entry fee.
Freerolls are special types of tournaments that do not charge any registration fees, but may reward the winners with Loyalty! Points or cash prizes.
You can view a specific tournament's buy-in and payout schedule by highlighting in the list and then clicking on the blue "Tournament Lobby" button in the right-hand corner of the main Lobby screen.
