Pai Gow Poker is a combination of the ancient Far East game of Pai Gow tiles and Western-style 7 Card Stud
Poker. An intriguing blend of skill, chance, strategy and ritual, Pai Gow Poker has become a casino and card
room favorite throughout the world. CardRoom.com's Pai Gow Poker Tournaments are multi-table events where players
take turns banking the action and compete against a field of competitors until one player has won all of the
tournament chips. These events follow a structure of minimum/maximum wagers and bank amounts that ensures an
exciting, fast-paced competition. Pai Gow Poker Tournaments follow the same Registration Process as other formats
at CardRoom.com and adhere to the same Tournament Rules, with the following differences:
Each tournament participant is to receive one thousand (1,000) tournament chips when they begin play.
The bank will start at Seat 1 and proceed clockwise.
The bank is mandatory and cannot be passed. Each player will bank twice each turn.
Players must bet at least the minimum player bet (see table below) for the current round of each hand.
The banker must cover at least the minimum banker bet (see table below) for the current round of each hand.
Minimum and maximum betting limits will be raised every fifteen (15) minutes.
A player whose total available tournament chips are less than the minimum wager is required to wager
and is considered to be "All In."
If a player sits out, the player will automatically be put in for the minimum player bet (or the banker
minimum bet if player is banking that round) and will automatically lose the hand ("Lose By Default"
or "Banker Concedes").
