CardRoom.com is proud to introduce a new Satellite Rounding feature with select satellite events!
Normally when a satellite prize pool does not have enough to cover a full seat to the target event
after guaranteed seats are awarded, the remaining amount is treated as a cash payout. With Satellite
Rounding this remaining cash amount will be "rounded up" to the next full qualifying seat to the
target event and awarded as such, and no cash payout will occur.
For example, a $5.75 satellite with 12 players to the $55 Super Saturday $10,000 Guaranteed would
normally award first place a $55 Super Saturday seat and second place with a $5.00 cash payout. With
satellite rounding, first place will still be awarded the $55 Super Saturday seat and second place
will have their prize "rounded up" and also be awarded a $55 Super Saturday seat courtesy of
CardRoom.com, with no $5.00 cash payout awarded.
